Keto High Calcium Meal Plans

These 7 keto high calcium meal plans provide about 1500 calories and 1200mg+ of calcium per day while keeping net carbs low enough for a ketogenic diet (typically around 20–25g net carbs).

Each day emphasizes calcium-dense foods from dairy and eggs (hard cheeses, full-fat yogurt, ricotta), fish with edible bones (sardines, canned salmon), and lower-oxalate leafy greens such as kale, collards, bok choy, turnip greens, mustard greens, and broccoli raab. Spinach is omitted because of its high oxalate content, which can reduce calcium absorption. Sesame seeds and tahini are also omitted because of their high phytic acid content.

Nuts and seeds (almonds, chia, macadamias, walnuts) and healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, butter) round out the macros. Meats appear for protein and fat, not as primary calcium sources.

Notes

  • Calorie needs vary. ~1500 kcal/day suits many people aiming for fat loss on keto; larger or more active people may need extra snacks or larger portions.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a medical condition (including kidney stones or calcium disorders), consult a health professional before changing your diet.
